Our Mission and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning and provide an environment which develops our children into well-rounded, confident and successful individuals.
Our Mission Statement
Together we learn, Together we achieve, Together we grow in God’s love.
At St Bernadette’s, we make everyone who enters our school feel welcome, happy, safe and most of all loved. We firmly believe that happiness and well-being are foundational to successful learning. Our values are deeply rooted in our Christian ethos, ensuring that Christ remains at the centre of our educational pursuits.
We are committed to promoting the spiritual and moral development of our pupils, guiding them to embody virtues such as kindness, respect, and compassion. Our curriculum is designed not only to impart knowledge but also to encourage personal growth and a sense of responsibility to one another and the wider community.
Through fostering positive relationships among pupils, staff, and families, we aspire to create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where every child can flourish and ‘live life to the full’.
We live out our Mission each day by following our ‘Virtues to Live by’. Our Virtues are good habits and a way of acting towards one another. Our Virtues are central to St Bernadette’s as we aspire to be like Christ each day.
