At St Bernadette’s, the tradition of sharing the Wednesday Word holds special significance, supporting our mission statement, “Jesus is very important in our school. He is at the heart of everything we do”. Each week, our children use this valuable resource to explore scripture and reflect on its meaning in their lives during Collective Worship.

The Wednesday Word helps us strengthen our spiritual foundation, inspiring students and their families to come together at home to discuss and share God’s Word. As Psalm 119:105 reminds  us, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” This weekly tradition brings the light of faith into our community and deepens our connection with God’s teachings.
